As a Send Relief Serve Tour Coordinator, you will play a vital role in executing Serve Tour projects that facilitate local ministry efforts in partnership with churches, associations, state conventions, and community partners. Your work will directly help mobilize volunteers and resources to serve communities with evangelism, compassion, and outreach.

About the Role

As a key member of the Serve Tour Team, you will oversee planning, coordination, and implementation of projects, develop strong relationships with ministry partners, and ensure smooth execution of tours across various cities. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine organizational excellence with a passion for missions and community service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of Send Relief Serve Tour projects, mobilizing churches, volunteers, and resources to impact communities effectively, aligned with NAMB's evangelism and church planting objectives.
  • Guide and support local project managers, church leaders, and state convention partners to approve and carry out community projects that are beneficial, volunteer-friendly, and sustainable.
  • Conduct site visits in Serve Tour cities for planning, project approval, and to identify needs or potential challenges.
  • Train project leaders through one-on-one calls, coordinate supplies, and ensure clear communication with group leaders.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and businesses to order, coordinate, and track project resources, ensuring project efficiency and resource maximization.
  • Coordinate logistics for transporting SR resources to Serve Tour locations, maintain accurate records, and oversee resource return to the SR warehouse post-event.
  • Build and nurture partnerships with key leaders in state conventions, churches, associations, and ministry entities to advance NAMB's Serve Tour goals and foster ongoing collaboration.
  • Communicate effectively with volunteers, manage emergency situations, and provide leadership to ensure a positive experience for all participants.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience in project management, logistics, or ministry coordination.
  • Ability to relate well to pastors, church leaders, and community partners.
  • Knowledge of construction or volunteer project execution is helpful.
  • Demonstrated Christian maturity, grounded in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, exemplifying integrity, humility, and active faith.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interpret plans, coordinate supplies, and handle logistical details.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed for site visits and project oversight.
  • Work Environment & Flexibility

    This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, providing flexibility to work both remotely and in-office as needed. The role may require occasional site visits, travel, and in-person collaboration, but remote work options are available to support project coordination.

    Physical & Personal Qualities

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform site visits as required.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • A warm, energetic personality with integrity, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for service.
  • Active involvement in a local church with a desire to serve and lead in community projects.
  • Demonstrates good judgment, adaptability, and a positive attitude in diverse situations.
