About The Position

Job Title : X-Ray Tech

Experience : Minimum 1 year required

License : Must have IL license in hand at submission

Certifications : ARRT R required, BLS preferred

Must-Have :

Minimum 1 year experience required.

First-timers accepted.

Candidates may float if needed.

Open to accommodating block schedule.

Locals accepted.

Pending license accepted.

Discuss time off requests with management.

Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

Description :

This position requires an experienced X-Ray Tech.

The individual will perform routine and specialized radiographic procedures.

Effective communication skills are essential.

The position may require floating within the facility as needed.

Candidates must adhere to infection control standards and safety regulations.

Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.

The candidate will work with various patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Those with experience in adult acute care and outpatient settings will be advantageous.

The tech will be responsible for preparing and administering contrast media as required.

Understanding of radiation safety is crucial in this role.

Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in performing various imaging procedures, including chest, abdomen, and extremities.

A flexible approach to scheduling and patient needs is expected.

Strong teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary professionals are essential.

The role will involve completing required training modules virtually.

Overall, the candidate must demonstrate professionalism and reliability throughout the contract duration.
