job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPrivate Investigator license in North Dakota and eligible in surrounding states 1+ years of report writing experience in field investigations Experience with face-to-face statements and field investigations Willingness to travel within a multi-state area Experience with insurance and liability claims, Workers Compensation, disability, life insurance, and death claims Flexible working hours, including nights and weekends Reliable vehicle with auto insurance Own or willing to purchase necessary equipment (digital recorder, laptop with Windows, Microsoft Word) Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field Experience as Private Investigator or detective Military or Law Enforcement background Knowledge of insurance law and underwriting Self-motivated with strong attention to detail Ability to work under stress and in sensitive situations Typing speed of 50+ words per minute Flexible self-scheduling Work from home option Competitive pay and monthly vehicle allowance Company fuel card, cell phone, and 401(k) matching Travel and report writing compensation Paid licensing fees and ongoing training Minimal out-of-pocket expenses with timely reimbursements

Responsibilities / Requirements
Responsibilities :
- Conduct complex claims investigations
- Submit daily updates on cases
- Manage time effectively
- Maintain client billable hours
- Write detailed statements
- Conduct scene investigations
- Prepare professional investigative reports
- Perform background checks and courthouse research
- Drive safely and remain alert while on duty
