Responsibilities / Requirements
Responsibilities :
- Conduct complex claims investigations
- Submit daily updates on cases
- Manage time effectively
- Maintain client billable hours
- Write detailed statements
- Conduct scene investigations
- Prepare professional investigative reports
- Perform background checks and courthouse research
- Drive safely and remain alert while on duty
Requirements :
Private Investigator license in North Dakota and eligible in surrounding states1+ years of report writing experience in field investigationsExperience with face-to-face statements and field investigationsWillingness to travel within a multi-state areaExperience with insurance and liability claims, Workers Compensation, disability, life insurance, and death claimsFlexible working hours, including nights and weekendsReliable vehicle with auto insuranceOwn or willing to purchase necessary equipment (digital recorder, laptop with Windows, Microsoft Word)Educational / Experience Qualifications :
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related fieldExperience as Private Investigator or detectiveMilitary or Law Enforcement backgroundKnowledge of insurance law and underwritingSelf-motivated with strong attention to detailAbility to work under stress and in sensitive situationsTyping speed of 50+ words per minuteBenefits
