As an On-Site EMT , you’ll play a critical role in keeping workers safe while gaining unparalleled experience in proactive health and safety management. What You’ll Do

  • Provide Patient Care : Perform triage, first aid, and follow-up care, or refer to outside medical providers as needed.
  • Be Calm in Emergencies : Assess situations, make sound decisions, and respond swiftly to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Maintain Records : Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records databases for the site.
  • Support Safety Efforts : Participate in site Health & Wellness programs, deliver medical and safety awareness training, and conduct site walk-throughs.
  • Coordinate Health Initiatives : Help organize on-site health fairs and wellness events.
  • Be a Key Communicator : Liaise with outside medical providers and the site management team to ensure seamless care and recovery processes.
  • Site Assessment : We strive to support our clients in the field, not in the office! You will spend 65% of your day actively engaging with the workers.
  • What You Bring

  • Physical Requirements : Ability to walk a job site including climbing stairs while carrying a backpack up to 35 pounds in all weather conditions.
  • What We’re Looking For

    Experience and Skills

  • Minimum one year of full-time experience in 911 emergency medical response.
  • Ability to lift / carry at least 35 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Education and Certification

  • Valid National Registry or State EMT Certification.
  • CPR certification at the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider level (American Heart Association) or Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations (29 CFR 1910).
  • Experience on large-scale construction sites.
  • Knowledge of the workers’ compensation process.
  • Instructor certification for First Aid, CPR, and AED training.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
