IT Azure Systems Administrator

Typical pay range : $42.51 - $63.77 per hour ($88,420 - $132,641 annually), based on experience.

Overview

St Charles is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator with recent, relevant Microsoft Azure experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, configuration of 3rd party software, implementation of infrastructure solutions, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, and support and maintenance of infrastructure and information systems.
• Designs, develops, operates, and maintains infrastructure services for existing and new business applications and information systems solutions.
• Independently implements end user or enterprise infrastructure, applications, or services of moderate complexity in support of more complex solutions.
• Operates and administers infrastructure or software platforms and user groups of moderate to high complexity.
• Performs on-call rotation and participates in after-hours escalation calls as required.
• Mentors other team members and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives (VIP / Lean).
• Maintains security and confidentiality, adheres to ITIL / ITSM processes, and supports organizational values and patient care objectives.

Qualifications

Education

Required — Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or other technology discipline, or equivalent experience. Preferred — Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or higher.

Experience

Required — Seven (7+) years in progressively responsible roles supporting systems in a medium-scale, multi-user, multi-application, multi-server enterprise environment. Healthcare experience and understanding of business IT applications (e.g., EMR, EHR, HR, finance) are preferred.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

Required — Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to travel to St. Charles Health System sites. Industry certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, CCA, VCP, or AWS. Preferred — Advanced certifications in security, cloud, network, or infrastructure.

Other

Excellent verbal and written communications; ITIL / ITSM knowledge; ability to work independently and in team settings; on-call readiness.

Physical / Environmental

Must be able to wear PPE as required; schedule includes on-call and maintenance hours; typical schedule is 40 hours per week with potential shift variations.
