A special education center (i.e., a non-public agency) serving children with autism and other neurodivergent needs in Redmond, Washington is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated

  • Speech-Language Pathologist

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work in a best-in-practice school that provides exceptional, relationship-centered services for children with autism and complex communication needs. At Emerald Learning Center, we celebrate all forms of communication and foster a collaborative, neurodiversity-affirming environment. Our interdisciplinary team includes special education teachers, BCBAs, OTs, and behavior technicians, all working together to support our students' growth.We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about supporting autistic students with higher support needs. The ideal candidate will have experience or familiarity with :
  • Gestalt language processing
  • High-tech AAC implementation and programming
  • Push-in therapy models
  • Primary Responsibilities :
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy as outlined in students' IEPs
  • Maintain accurate and timely daily therapy notes
  • Program AAC devices and manage assistive technology
  • Participate as a member of IEP teams, including writing IEPs, conducting evaluations, and setting functional performance goals
  • Collaborate closely with OTs, BCBAs, and educators to ensure effective, coordinated support
  • Create and implement aided language supports to help students access the educational environment

    Pay : $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
