- Speech-Language Pathologist
- to join our team. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work in a best-in-practice school that provides exceptional, relationship-centered services for children with autism and complex communication needs. Our interdisciplinary team includes special education teachers, BCBAs, OTs, and behavior technicians, all working together to support our students' growth.We are looking for a clinician who is passionate about supporting autistic students with higher support needs. The ideal candidate will have experience or familiarity with :
- Gestalt language processing
- High-tech AAC implementation and programming
- Push-in therapy models
- Primary Responsibilities :
- Provide direct speech-language therapy as outlined in students' IEPs
- Maintain accurate and timely daily therapy notes
- Program AAC devices and manage assistive technology
- Participate as a member of IEP teams, including writing IEPs, conducting evaluations, and setting functional performance goals
- Collaborate closely with OTs, BCBAs, and educators to ensure effective, coordinated support
- Create and implement aided language supports to help students access the educational environment
