The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pharmaceutical media planning, omnichannel strategy, and agency collaboration. Responsibilities include developing and implementing media strategies across multiple brands and therapeutic areas to support business objectives. The role also involves translating brand goals into actionable media plans designed to drive engagement and measurable outcomes. Collaboration with brand teams to ensure seamless integration of media strategies into broader marketing plans is essential. Leading annual brand planning efforts, including launch readiness and lifecycle management, while aligning media plans with key milestones is also part of the role. Managing relationships with external media agencies to ensure quality execution, strategic alignment, and adherence to budgets is crucial. Conducting agency briefings, overseeing performance evaluations, and negotiating contracts with media partners are key responsibilities. Monitoring campaign performance, analyzing key metrics such as reach and engagement, and optimizing strategies based on results is also required. Partnering with analytics teams to refine targeting strategies and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement is necessary. Staying informed on emerging media trends and compliance requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry is important. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including medical, legal, and analytics departments, to present strategies and performance updates is essential. Requirements include extensive experience in pharmaceutical media planning and brand strategy development, proven expertise in omnichannel media planning and performance optimization, and strong ability to manage media agencies. Familiarity with healthcare targeting and compliance standards within the pharmaceutical space is required.
