A leading healthcare staffing group is currently seeking Social Workers to join its Emergency Response Division in Louisiana . This role offers the opportunity to support rapid statewide deployments in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH).

About the Opportunity :

  • Start Timeline : Ability to deploy within 48 hours of notice
  • Shift : Day (7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM) or Night (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM)
  • Schedule : 12-hour shifts; flexible assignments
  • Setting : Emergency preparedness and disaster response environments
  • Deployment Locations : New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Alexandria, Lake Charles, Lafayette, Thibodaux, Hammond, Monroe, Bossier City

Responsibilities :

  • Advocating for patients and connecting them to community resources
  • Providing counseling, crisis intervention, and emotional support
  • Conducting intake, case management, and discharge planning
  • Supporting patients with behavioral health, social service, and family needs
  • Documenting patient care and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements

    • Qualifications :

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Social Work, Behavioral Health, or related fields
  • Active, unencumbered Social Work license (LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent; Louisiana compliance may be required)
  • BLS / CPR certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of case management and behavioral health practices
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to high-pressure and emergency environments
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach

    • Desired Skills :

  • Prior experience in emergency response or disaster relief settings
  • Additional specialty certifications in behavioral health or crisis intervention
  • Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams
