Position Summary :
Reporting to the VP HR, the person in this role will manage the employee relations function of MZB-USA.
As the single point of contact for employee relations, you will be responsible for effectively conducting investigations, addressing conflict, ensuring fair policy application, as well as training and promoting a healthy work environment across the organization.
Required : The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with excellent communication and presentation abilities, as well as skilled at driving collaboration across diverse teams.
Job Duties :
- Provide trusted and independent counsel and lead with HR expertise and perspectives related to employee relations across the entire organization
- Mediate disputes, providing training to managers on best practices, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and helping to develop and implement company policies and culture initiatives companywide
- Monitor corrective actions and provide guidance to managers and supervisors
- Help develop HR policy, procedures, interpretation, and implementation as needed
- Foster a workplace environment consistent with the MZB Way as outlined by the leadership of company
- Act as a liaison for the Human Resources Department by assessing and anticipating HR-related needs and communicating those needs proactively to seek and develop integrated solutions in partnership with the team that align with business objectives
- Help develop culture and onboard new hires, including ensuring policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to
- Participate in the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems
- Strategically assist the management team with furthering the mission, vision, and business goals of the organization through a solid organizational structure
- Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
Qualifications & Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, organizational psychology, with HR concentrationMinimum of five years of experience in human resources or a related fieldDemonstrated ability to informally lead people, achieving results through othersExcellent verbal, written communication, problem analysis and resolution skillsProven ability to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority; professionally maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure in changing conditionsExcellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including ability to resolve disputes and maintain confidentialityProven proficiency in Microsoft Office, with demonstrated Excel and Word experience, HRIS / database experience a plusAbility to negotiate conflict and maintain constructive working relationships with people at all levels of an organization (both inside and outside the company)Equal Opportunity Employer : disability / veteran.
