Salary : $20.00

Forklift / Material Handler

Pay Rate : $20.00 per hour

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

About the Role

Our logistics client is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift / Material Handler to join their team. This position plays a vital role in the warehouse operations, ensuring efficient movement and organization of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and warehouse storage areas
  • Move, stack, and organize materials throughout the facility
  • Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records
  • Inspect equipment daily and report any maintenance needs
  • Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
  • Perform heavy lifting as required
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

  • Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Must pass a THC drug screen and background check

    • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects regularly
  • Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
  • Work in varying warehouse temperatures
