Call Requirement : Weeknights (7 PM – 7 AM), Weekends / Holidays (7 AM – 7 PM)

💡 Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. The RN is responsible for assisting physicians during procedures, monitoring patients’ hemodynamic status, managing sedation, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the peri-procedural period.

This role requires strong clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

✅ Requirements & Qualifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)

Must live at least 50 miles from facility (no locals)

Experience : Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required

Travel Experience : Required

Charting System : Epic (experience within the last 6 months required)

Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

Licensure : Active RN license in the state of Texas or compact state eligibility

Additional Notes : Must live at least 50 miles from facility (no locals)

Former permanent staff must have been gone 1 year before returning as travelers

Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays if needed

Maximum 3 RTO days auto-approved, no RTO on holidays
