Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU / PCU night shift position requiring an active WA or compact RN license and at least 3 years of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH) covering ICU, PCU, and occasionally Med-Surg / Telemetry areas
  • Night shift position
  • Must be willing to flex and work in multiple departments as needed
  • Responsible for providing patient education and ensuring safety with preventative measures
  • Implements infection control and isolation procedures according to protocols
  • Maintains accurate and complete documentation of patient care and physician orders
  • Restocks emergency carts and general supplies as needed
  • Gives detailed change of shift reports to oncoming staff
  • Reports critical lab values promptly according to policy
  • No specific radius rule for local candidates

    • Requirements

  • Active WA or compact RN license is required
  • Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience
  • Current BLS / BCLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Experience with safe operation and troubleshooting of equipment in PCU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg areas
