Lead Superintendent Ground Multifamily Maine

Our client is a real estate management and development company headquartered in Pennsylvania, with active projects across more than 16 states and a particularly strong pipeline in New England. With over 250 employees, the company manages the full lifecycle of its projects in-house-from construction through property management-ensuring consistent quality and execution.

Specializing in luxury apartments and townhomes, the organization has developed more than 9,000 units nationwide. All project management is coordinated from its Pennsylvania office, providing a centralized approach to oversight and delivery.

Job Description

  • Directly responsible for supervising all on-site project sub-contractors.
  • Must act as a quality control representative to monitor and ensure the correction of any deficient workmanship and / or below quality work.
  • Act as mediator for subcontractor / supplier and staff related issues.
  • Administer first aid when necessary.
  • Approve material requests and delivery.
  • Assists Project Manager by overseeing the field construction processes.
  • Walk with 3rd party inspections (i.e. geo-tech, structural engineer, fire proofing consultant) for activities directly supervised.
  • Report deficiencies, problems and delays to project manager.
  • Responsible for the walk-through inspection ensuring passage from local municipal inspectors.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience
  • Previous multifamily experience over $20M
  • Proven experience managing a project from start through completion
  • Team leader with effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Construction Management or other related degree (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam or other construction related software
