About The Position
We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment in Florida, beginning Sep 29, 2025, with a 100-day commitment. This opportunity features flexible shift options, including 8-, 10-, and 12-hour OR schedules, with rotations for weekday and weekend in-house and beeper call coverage. The Anesthesiologist will join a care team model supporting a Trauma facility, working closely with other physicians and CRNAs to deliver high-quality perioperative care across a diverse range of surgical specialties.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases, including orthopedic, general surgery, vascular, ophthalmology, urology, neurosurgery, electrophysiology, plastic surgery, pain, GI, thoracic, ENT, OMFS, and select OB / GYN casesParticipate in a care team modelManage anesthesia for Trauma cases (no hearts, no OB, no pediatric cases)Perform required procedures, including trauma and regional ultrasound-guided techniquesSupervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers as needed (approximately 20% supervision)Rotate through call schedules, including in-house and beeper call, as described in the job detailsDocument all patient information and care activities in the Epic EMR systemAdhere to all facility protocols and best practices for anesthesia careAdditional Information
Must have a current Florida medical licenseAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications requiredMust have a clean background to facilitate expedited credentialingExperience with Trauma and regional ultrasound procedures requiredNo board certification requirement specifiedBenefits
