Traveling Project Manager

We are seeking a highly capable Traveling Project Manager to lead mission-critical data center builds from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires flexibility to travel and manage projects on-site, with assignments typically lasting 12-18 months. Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and coordination with field teams, subcontractors, and clients
  • Manage budgets, change orders, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement on-site

The successful applicant will have :

  • 5+ years of experience managing large-scale commercial or mission-critical construction projects
  • Proven track record of delivering ground-up builds, preferably in the data center or high-tech sector
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel and remain on-site for the duration of each project. The company will allow for travel home.
  • Proficiency in project management software and scheduling tools
