About The Position

Job Title : Occupational Therapist

License : Active Illinois license or confirmation of application process initiated

Certifications : BLS required; State licensure and Lymphedema certification preferred

Must-Have :

Diverse clinical background required.

Ability to work in all areas including inpatient, outpatient, and home care.

Experience with pediatrics preferred but not required.

Description :

The role involves treating patients across various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and home care.

Clinical duties may include working with pediatric to geriatric populations, focusing on orthopedic, neurological, fall risk, and general weakness diagnoses.

Expectations include managing a variable caseload that ranges from 6 to 10 patients per day depending on the area covering.

Utilization of electronic medical records for charting is required.

Collaboration with certified occupational therapy assistants is expected when available.

Full orientation schedule will be provided, leading to an independent full schedule in the second week.

Weekend and holiday work are not required.

Dress code includes black, navy, or royal blue scrubs or business casual attire.
