A company is looking for a Credit Counselor (Collections Specialist) to assist members in managing debt and handling collections activities.

Key Responsibilities

Contact delinquent account holders to cure defaults and maintain accurate documentation of collection efforts

Analyze financial situations of delinquent borrowers and provide recommendations for solutions

Promote member education and identify opportunities to promote credit union products and services

Required Qualifications

One to three years of related experience

High school education or GED

Knowledge of credit and collections practices

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

Proficiency in PC skills and MS Office products
