About The Position

Job Title : Surgical Technician

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Must be on the Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Registry

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

2+ years of experience

Strong background in general surgery, including ENT, Orthopedics, and Client

Experience working in a busy acute care facility with more than 15 OR Suites

Experience with robotics

BLS certification

Description :

Perform surgical and operating room duties as assigned according to established policies and procedures.

Assist the surgeon and other healthcare team members in providing effective surgical care.

Types of procedures include Orthopedics, ENT, plastics, and some trauma.

Primary procedures completed are in orthopedics, plastic surgery, and ENT (both pediatric and adult).

Experience with equipment and systems such as Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, and Striker for total replacements is required.

Candidates must have experience working in a large hospital environment, preferably with trauma experience.

Must be able to stay late as needed, which will not be considered call back but simply an extension of the regular shift.

Clinicians will be required to badge in and out of the facility.
