Summary

The Foreman is primarily responsible for assisting the Project Manager in coordinating tasks for the day, creating schedules for workers, overseeing the quality of the site, and managing the budget. They also must report the progress of the project to superiors.

Physical : Stamina, manual dexterity, and good vision are essential to this role. The ability to climb ladders, work off ladders, and be within ladder weight restrictions is required. Must be able to regularly lift and / or pull up to 50 lbs.

Dress Code : For safety purposes, must wear well-fitting work pants / jeans and an assigned Optiline shirt. Sturdy steel toe boots / sneakers and any necessary safety gear on-site are required. Must be clean-shaven (a requirement for respirator use), well-groomed and hygienic.

Environment : The job functions are primarily carried out at off-site locations at residential homes and commercial properties. The noise level is usually moderate, but loud equipment and construction-type sounds occur. This position also requires the employee to be in the Company office and / or at the Client office(s) for various meetings. Adherence to all OSHA and Optiline safety practices and procedures is tremendously important.
