Experience :

Minimum 2 years of experience required.

First-time travelers accepted.

License :

Active Registered Nurse license required.

Certifications :

ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required.

Must-Have :

Cardiac Telemetry experience is required.

Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias experience is required.

Experience with patient care units ratios of 1 : 5 is required.

Experience with peripheral line care and management is required.

Experience with PICC line management is required.

Titration of drips experience is required.

Floating between units is required as needed.

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit.

The nurse will provide care for adult patients with various diagnoses.

Primary patient populations include individuals with strokes and renal disorders.

Additional patient considerations may include endocrine and gastrointestinal disorders, as well as hematological issues.

The unit features telemetry-monitored beds for cardiac surveillance.

Centralized cardiac monitoring is provided for ongoing patient assessment.

Support from interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and respiratory services, is available.

Candidates must be prepared for a Pass / Fail EKG exam required for all registered nurses.

Time off requests must be submitted prior to compliance.

A full compliance file is necessary before the start date.

Local candidates are not accepted.

Candidates are expected to be flexible with scheduling and adhere to punctuality guidelines.

Exemptions for vaccinations are only allowed for medical or religious reasons.
