Hinterland is looking to hire a packaging leader. This position requires 1-2 years experience operating bottling and / or canning machinery. This is a hands on job working in a fast paced and fun environment. Applicants must have a strong work ethic and enjoy the camaraderie and collaboration of producing amazing beer.

Position Summary
The Packaging Leader position tends to the day-to-day operation of bottling / canning / keg equipment and cellar work concerning brite beer. The position follows standard work methods while following safe work practices and habits to ensure production is efficient and safe.
Main Responsibilities :
The Packaging Leader will ensure that all bottling / canning / keg line essentials (cans / bottles, lids / caps, packaging, boxes, pallets, kegs, etc.) are in place to meet daily production.Fills beer into bottles / cans / kegs for packaging and shipping and labeling as required.Examines bottles / cans / kegs to ensure fill levels and date codes are correct and labels have been correctly applied following quality assurance / quality control standards.CIP of bright / serving tanks and kegsServing cooler restock and upkeepOperate bottle / can depalletizerStack pallets in accordance with daily orders and production needBe on your feet for 8 hours or more while lifting, walking, and stackingParticipation in proper clean-up during pre-and post-production (including cleaning of equipment, tools, manufacturing area, maintenance, etc.).Requirements : Qualifications :
1-2 years prior beverage packaging experience preferredThe Supervisor must be at least 21 years old, have a high school education (or equivalent), and be able to work in the state of Wisconsin.Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive in WI and willingness to drive a box truck, forklifts and pallet jacks.Communicate problems or issues effectively in order to keep the operation running.Must be able to work with a team and have an ambitious, and friendly attitude.Adhere to rules, regulations, and company policies that are outlined in the employee handbook.Prioritize work and maintain high-quality standards.In accordance with the company’s attendance policy, it is expected that the operator will be at work on time and throughout their regularly scheduled shift.A flexible schedule is needed as the hours and days worked may change based on production needs.Must be able to maintain concentration on the packaging quality and in close proximity to moving equipment.Must be able to work closely with others on the packaging team and communicate with others as necessary to ensure safe work practices.Assist in maintaining all bottling / canning line / kegging / bright tank equipment.Perform other tasks as necessary and as requested by management.Ability to meet physical challenges of working in a high-paced production environmentAbility to lift and carry up to 50lbsAble to stand for up to 8 hours at a timeWilling to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
