Registered Nurse (RN) FT Day

As a  Registered Nurse  at Valley View Village , you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate is a skilled and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) who thrives in a team-oriented environment and is committed to enhancing the lives of older adults. Position Type :  Full-Time

Shifts Available :

Day   7 : 00 am to 7 : 00 pm

Wage Range :   $37.50+ / hour depending on experience

Location :   2571 Guthrie Ave, Des Moines, IA 50317

Registered Nurse responsibilities :

• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow-up action as necessary
• Administers medications and / or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness / response.
• Monitor residents and report any change in their condition.
• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Monitor performance of CNA staff.
• Use strong interpersonal skills when interacting with others.
