About The Position

Job Description :

  • Practice on one hospital campus
  • Your practice would be a blend of outpatient office, endoscopy, and inpatient coverage
  • An experienced Gastroenterologist could be busy immediately.  Large, established, referral base within the medical group, ACO and community partners.
  • Consultative Hospital Service
  • PSLF eligible
  • Dedicated APP support
  • Beautiful healing environment.  Mount Carmel Grove City Hospital opened in 2019.
  • Provide quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment.
  • EMR - EPIC
  • Onsite Lab and X-Ray
  • Call Ratio : 1 / 4
  • Advanced Endoscopy training is preferred but not required.
  • 3-5 years of post-graduate work experience is preferred, but GI fellows are encouraged to apply
  • This is a full-time, permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area.  Relocation may be required.  To be discussed at interview.

Job Requirements

  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine -  PREFERRED
  • Board Certified or TRULY Board Eligible (within 1-5 years of eligibility and with plans to test) in Gastroenterology -  REQUIRED  ( Board Certified is PREFERRED)
  • OH license (or willing to obtain) -  REQUIRED
  • BLS, ACLS -  REQUIRED
  • Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B? (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) -  REQUIRED
  • Advanced Endoscopy training  (note in "Experience" field)  -  PREFERRED
  • 3-5 Years of Outpatient Gastroenterology work experience (not including training) -  PREFERRED

  • Hospital employment with  compensation as a base plus model, with starting salary around $520K and increasing each year for 3 years
