Job Description Job Title : Material Handler Job Location : Lakeland, FL Eligibility / Clearance : US Citizenship required as this supports a government contract JOB SUMMARY : The Material Handler is responsible for supporting internal and external customers through accurate receiving, stocking, delivery, and shipment of materials.

In addition, the Material Handler responsible for operating all material support equipment and performing all material support functions (i.e.

receiving, running lines, and shipping) in assigned Operations facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

• Efficiently locate & pull materials / supplies as listed on production / sales order and stock assigned production areas to maintain inventory levels for production; ability to accurately verify parts & quantities and complete BOLs to receive and / or ship material.
• Licensed and can operate all material handling equipment (i.e.

Stand-up, Sit-down, Combi, Lancer, Tugger) at assigned Operations facility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : -Previous experience directly working with material handling equipment (forklift, tugger, etc.), inventory management in a warehouse or manufacturing environment or an evaluated equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : -High School Diploma or GED.

Read and interpret safety rules, operating / maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
