Work Now Staffing is looking to hire an Comail Machine Operator for our Romeoville client.

Shift : 12 hour shift : 7 : 00pm - 7 : 00am - 3 days one week, 4 days rotating

Pay : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Summary :

We are currently seeking an experienced Comail Machine Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining comailing equipment, with preference given to candidates who have hands-on experience with any or all the following equipment : SIM Comail Lines, Mosca strappers, Domino inkjet units, Rima stackers, Label-Aire units, and ESC controllers. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, an eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Set up, operate, and monitor Comail Lines to ensure optimal production and minimal downtime
  • Operate and maintain auxiliary equipment such as :

Mosca strappers for bundling and secure packaging

  • Domino inkjet units for accurate and timely addressing
  • Rima stackers for proper stacking and job flow
  • Label-Aire units for pressure-sensitive label application
  • ESC controllers for line management and job execution
  • Perform quality checks to ensure production meets USPS and customer requirements
  • Load and unload mail trays, pallets, and finished product according to instructions
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and escalate when necessary
  • Complete production logs, job tickets, and postal documentation accurately
  • Adhere to all safety policies and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure production timelines are met

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience operating SIM Comail Lines or similar comailing systems
  • Familiarity with the listed equipment : Mosca, Domino, Rima, Label-Aire, ESC
  • Understanding of USPS regulations and mail sorting requirements
  • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and follow detailed job orders and production instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when required
