Key Responsibilities of the RN – Emergency Department :

Provide immediate and high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing emergencies.

Triage, assess, and stabilize patients presenting with critical conditions.

Administer medications, IV fluids, and emergency interventions as required.

Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced settings.

Monitor vital signs, record patient progress, and ensure accurate documentation.

Educate patients and families about follow-up care and discharge instructions.

Requirements :

Active RN license in Texas (or compact state eligibility).

Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multitasking skills.

Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure environments.
