Salary Range : $82,000 - $102,000 - $122,000

Position Summary :

The Senior Donor Advisor, functions as a Major Gift Officer reports to the Senior Director, Major Gifts Development and functions as a key member of the philanthropy and fundraising team within the Global Relationships and Resources Department. The Senior Donor Advisor will develop and manage a portfolio of major-level-giving donors by initiating, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding relationships with individuals and families who partner financially with Lutheran World Relief and other Corus International brands.

This role requires extensive travel and primarily serves the southeastern United States, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida and will also travel to Georgia, Tennessee, Northern Virginia, Washington, DC, Indiana, and Ohio.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and manage a portfolio of 125-150 qualified donors with annual major gift prospects of $10K and higher.
• Develop and execute thoughtful, innovative, and individualized strategies for qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors, involving colleagues and organizational leaders as appropriate.
• Plan and execute a regular cadence of communications (voice-to-voice and written) with donors.
• Plan and execute regular visits (in person and virtual) with donors.
• Travel within designated territory to visit donors and attend organizational meetings. International travel will occur periodically, and some trips will include leading donors to current program sites.
• Work closely with the Senior Director to create, track and measure revenue objectives and key results for the donor portfolio.
• Collaborate with members of the fundraising team and regional volunteers to execute donor events and regional strategies.
• Regularly utilize Raiser's Edge to record all interactions with donors and manage solicitation plans and revenue projections in a timely manner.
• Undertake special projects and assignments to advance the mission of Corus International.
