Training Coordinator
Hubbell's Systems Control location in Iron Mountain, MI is looking for a Training Coordinator to become a part of our Integrated Substation Solutions team. As a Training Coordinator, you will support the development, implementation, and sustainment of training programs for the business unit. You will play a key role in equipping our teams to perform their roles safely and effectively, setting up new team members for success as we continue to grow.

A Day In The Life
- Work with subject matter experts to develop and maintain work instructions, training documents, and job aids.
- Regularly review work instructions, training documents, and job aids for accuracy and relevancy.
- Coordinate instructor-led safety and machine / equipment training.
- Prepare training areas and materials.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure documentation and training materials are comprehensive and support the needs of all stakeholders.
- Manage the document control lifecycle of applicable documents including document review and approval, controlled storage of digital and physical versions, revisions, and archival.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate them to the Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing Engineering teams.
- Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing Engineering teams to document new or improved processes from projects, improvement events, or employee ideas.
- Maintain meticulous records of training activities such as attendance, trainee progression, and trainee feedback.
- Other duties as assigned.
What Will Help You Thrive In This Role?
Associate's degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.At least three years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with experience in training, technical writing, or similar roles preferred.Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) a plus.Experience with Training Within Industry (TWI) programs a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong active listening and investigative questioning skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail.Strong organizational skills.Hubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
