Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Management Specialist 2 to join our team! This individual will be required to plan, monitor and manage internal projects from initiation through completion. Lead or coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, troubleshooting and team leadership. Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions. Preferred : Creates, manages, and reports on Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) | Creates, maintains and coordinates updates risk database with all functions Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills : Proficient in Microsoft Project, Deltek Open Plan or similar scheduling software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

Essential Functions
Manages all aspects of complex projects throughout the project lifecycle : planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated.Assists with the selection, negotiation, and managing of all activities regarding external consultants or vendors.Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project timelines, tasks, milestones, and deadlines.Plans and facilitates project meetings to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks.Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and project summaries.Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management.Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and to develop mitigation plans.Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to the project and adjusts allocations when necessary.Required Qualifications
Required education and experience : Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & / or ExperienceCritical professional related technical skills; computer skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications
