Job Purpose
The Manager, Social Media is the strategic leader for all social media channels, overseeing global organic social media content and operations across Talent Systems’ North American brands. This role is a key driver of brand awareness, audience growth and community trust. The Manager, Social Media is responsible for leading the social media team, defining the social strategy and overseeing its execution, and ensuring the brand's positioning builds trust and positive engagement with our audience of performers and industry professionals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Define our brands’ social media strategy in collaboration with the Senior Director and manage the social media content calendar.
- Directly manage and mentor members of the North American social media team, ensuring direct report(s) contribute to hitting channel-level goals and KPIs.
- Establish channel-level goals and KPIs tied to our company’s goals, and develop and execute a clear strategy to meet them.
- Work collaboratively with the Social Media Specialist, providing strategic oversight to campaign development.
- Oversee all social media activity, including content posting and creation, approvals, brand positioning, community and influencer management.
- Build and scale a community management program that builds trust and positive engagement, including developing escalation paths and response plans.
- Conceptualize and test new social media ideas, such as A / B testing and experimenting with new formats.
- Develop and oversee social video strategy, including producing engaging content that supports our brands’ goals.
- Monitor and report on content and channel performance weekly and monthly, including sentiment and video performance.
- Proactively devise campaigns and strategies that have measurable business impact.
- Deep knowledge of social media platforms, their tools, features, algorithms and cultures, including Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Qualifications & Attributes
5+ years of digital marketing and communications experience.Strong experience in social media strategy, content creation and campaign management.Strong quantitative skills with the ability to pull and analyze metrics and identify performance trends.Proven ability to lead and manage a cohesive social media team, fostering a supportive environment.An agile mindset, comfortable with experimentation and quick pivots in a fast‑changing social media landscape.Excellent writing skills with the ability to develop "succinct, punchy copy".In‑depth understanding of social media algorithms and optimization.A keen eye for on‑brand creative design and messaging.Experience building an engaged community and managing influencer relationships.Experience working with Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Canva, Riverside.fm, CapCut, and other common social media creation and reporting tools.Experience Required
