Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT, BLS, and Epic EMR proficiency for a 13-week day shift contract.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in an interventional radiology department
  • Work schedule consists of 4x10 hour day shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM
  • On-call required : one weekday every 2-3 weeks and one weekend every 2 months with a 30-minute response time
  • Patient population and procedures typical for interventional radiology
  • Candidates may be asked to float within their scope of practice
  • Epic charting experience is required
  • Modules completed during orientation may take up to 16 hours and are recorded in Workday
  • Return staff must be separated from UVA Health system for one year and may not return if previously on assignment for 365 days
  • Up to 40 hours RTO permitted per 13-week contract, additional requests will not be approved after acceptance
  • Parking available closer during call shifts
  • 50 mile radius rule applies; local candidates not accepted for this unit

    • Requirements

  • Current ARRT and BLS certifications required
  • VA Radiologic Technologist License required; pending accepted with temporary authorization, but must be in-hand before starting
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Two references required for consideration
  • License required if applicable
