Key Job Details – Savannah OR Tech First Assist Location : Savannah, GA 31404 (Georgia healthcare jobs) Facility : Hospital Operating Room (30 ORs) Assignment Type : Travel healthcare contract Start Date : October 20, 2025 End Date : January 19, 2026 Duration : 13-week travel assignment Shift : 6 : 30 AM – 3 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday (No call, no weekends) Hours per Week : 40 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1580 - $1700 Documentation System : Epic EMR Dress Code : Seal Blue Scrubs (Home Laundered) Qualifications for OR Tech – First Assist Jobs Minimum 1 year experience as an Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) with First Assist experience Certified First Assist (CFA) credential required Level I Trauma Center experience, including trauma, neuro / spine, and advanced orthopedics Ability to scrub all surgical service lines, including trauma cases AST (Association of Surgical Technologists) certification preferred Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) Operating Room Technician Responsibilities Assist surgeons as a First Assist during operative and invasive procedures Scrub and circulate for trauma, neuro / spine, and orthopedic surgeries Prepare, maintain, and ensure readiness of operating room equipment and supplies Support patient safety and collaborate with the surgical team throughout procedures Work closely with OR Registered Nurses, Surgical Techs, Anesthesia Techs, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR Why Choose Savannah for Your Next Travel Healthcare Job?
