Valet Attendant ($12 / hour + tips) - Annapolis Town Center
Towne Park is a hospitality services company focused on delivering exceptional experiences. This role involves providing courteous, efficient service to guests, parking and retrieving vehicles safely, and assisting with luggage where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients. Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet and use guest last names during interactions.
- Park and retrieve vehicles in a safe, efficient manner. Assist guests with bell services and luggage storage as needed. Open vehicle and hotel doors for guests.
- Assist guests with directions, taxis, reservations, and inquiries. Provide information on facility amenities and local attractions. Deliver messages, items, or guest amenities as requested. Shuttle guests to approved locations.
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures. Issue claim checks after receiving keys and collect them prior to issuing keys. Maintain ticket information (key tag, guest folio, vehicle location, damage survey, claim check receipts).
- Collect revenue when applicable and ensure accurate reporting of all functions performed.
Qualifications
Education : High school diploma or GED.License : Valid driver's license for the applicable state or within a commutable distance.Experience : One month related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge and Skills : Ability to read and write English, understand simple instructions, and effectively present information. Basic arithmetic skills including handling money. Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems and basic parking operations. Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable. Ability to perform parallel parking.Work Schedule and Benefits
Work schedule : Open availability.Compensation : $12 per hour base pay plus tips.Benefits : Eligible for accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, telemedicine insurance, and enrollment in the company 401k plan (eligibility depends on job classification, tenure, and hours). Seasonal / temporary roles may not be eligible.Work Environment
The majority of work is outdoors, with conditions including extreme heat or cold. Travel up to 5% may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable performance of essential duties.
