Job Overview :
The Ivory Noodle Bar Food Runner works in conjunction with the server to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. The Food Runner assists with delivery and clearing of food from guest tables, stocks side stations and assists with the clearing and resetting of tables.

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Completes all side-work as directed by supervisor
- Keeps service stations stocked with needed supplies, including clean linen, silverware, china, glassware, ice, and condiments
- Keeps work area neat, clean and free of safety hazards
- Greets guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Provides proper and effective water service to all guests
- Pre-busses all tables, taking all used dishes to the dish room
- Effectively utilizes a tray in the service of food, or the clearing of tables
- Replaces silverware, linen, and other service items as needed by guests
- Clears all tables after guests leave and resets the tables
- Assists food servers as needed, using specified serving procedures to ensure food items are delivered to guests in a timely manner
- Gets approval for and submits stock requisitions
- Ensures stock areas and service stations and corridors are kept in a clean and orderly fashion
- Sweeps and / or mops floors and prepares dirty linens and takes trash to dumpster
- Notifies management of any malfunctioning equipment
- Assumes special projects as needed at the direction of the immediate supervisor
- Other duties & responsibilities as assigned

High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employmentMust be eigthteen (18) years of age or olderMust be able to lift and carry forty (40) poundsMust be able to respond to visual and audible cuesMust be able to work independently and as part of a teamMust successfully pass job interview, including a guest service auditionMust be able to deal effectively with diverse departments and have flexibility to work in an ever-changing environmentAbility to adequately and successfully perform all aspects of this positionMust possess a high level of maturity, dependability, and punctualityDemonstrated ability to communicate, in English, effectively both verbally and in writing, and understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formatsMust successfully complete Responsible Vendor Alcoholic Beverage Service, and BASSET trainingMust successfully complete Serve Safe Sanitation trainingWilling to work odd and irregular hoursWilling to travel and participate in training as recommended or requiredMust have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this positionBase Pay :
Pay range - $15.00 - $20.63 (The base pay will depend factors such as experience level and skillset).Voluntary full-time benefit offerings include the following - group medical, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as access to a flexible spending account (FSA) option.
