  • Are you an experienced healthcare professional with a passion for medical staff governance and credentialing excellence? We're seeking a Medical Staff Administrative / Credentialing Officer to lead and manage our hospital's medical staff services and credentialing program.

    This pivotal role ensures compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards while supporting medical staff leadership in governance, privileging, and peer review. You'll serve as a key liaison between hospital administration, medical staff committees, and clinical departments—helping maintain a streamlined, compliant, and high-quality credentialing process.

    • ?? Key Responsibilities :
    • Serve as primary resource for Medical Staff committees (e.g., MEC, Credentials, Peer Review)
    • Coordinate credentialing, privileging, and recredentialing for medical and allied health professionals
    • Ensure compliance with CIHQ / Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulations
    • Maintain credentialing databases and track expirables
    • Support peer review, FPPE / OPPE, and quality monitoring processes
    • Prepare documentation for audits and survey readiness
    • Facilitate medical staff governance, elections, and communications
    • ?? Qualifications :
    • Bachelor's degree preferred (Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field)
    • 3–5 years of experience in medical staff services and credentialing (hospital setting preferred)
    • Strong knowledge of CIHQ / Joint Commission standards and CMS Conditions of Participation
    • Proficiency in credentialing software (e.g., MD-Staff, Echo) and Microsoft Office
    • CPCS and / or CPMSM certification strongly preferred or obtainable within 2 years
    • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
