Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school in San Antonio, TX is seeking Special Education Teachers to fill both full-time and part-time roles. The positions focus on elementary education and will begin with the student first day on August 14th. This is a contract opportunity, with full-time roles and part-time roles offering 4-hour days, 5 days a week.
Qualifications :
- Valid EC-4 or EC-6 teaching certification (EC-12 candidates also considered)
- Previous experience as a Dyslexia teacher is highly preferred
- Special Education teaching background with the ability to serve as a Dyslexia case manager
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to supporting students' individual learning needs
Responsibilities include :
Providing specialized instruction and support for students with dyslexia and other learning differences in an elementary settingDeveloping and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned caseloadCollaborating with general education teachers, families, and related service providersServing as a case manager for dyslexia students, monitoring progress and ensuring compliance with guidelinesMaintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and state standardsBenefits :
