Position : SAP Project Manager (RTR / Finance)

Location : Vernon Hills, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Duration : 12-18+ Month Contract

Overview :

Our client is undergoing a major enterprise transformation, is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the RTR / Finance workstream for a strategic SAP S / 4HANA implementation (RISE with SAP – Private Cloud). This is a high-visibility, long-term opportunity to contribute to a digital transformation initiative focused on modernizing core business processes, enabling digital manufacturing, and optimizing the global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide leadership and project / program management over the RTR / Finance workstream.
  • Partner closely with systems integrator teams and internal business / IT stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Manage project execution, including risk mitigation, resource coordination, and status reporting
  • Ensure milestones and objectives are met within defined parameters of time, budget, and quality

Qualifications :

  • Extensive experience delivering SAP implementation or transformation projects within complex enterprise environments
  • Proven expertise in leading the FICO functional area. Hands-on background prior to moving into Project Management strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional teams and third-party integrator relationships
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Prior experience with SAP S / 4HANA implementations
