Adelphi is seeking Special Education Teachers to students within schools in South Carolina. The ideal candidates will be experts in helping students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development into responsible adults.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in a Special Education classroom setting
  • Valid South Carolina License
  • Minimum 1 year experience

    • Responsibilities :

  • Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students.
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Implement IEPs, assess students’ performance, and track their progress.
  • Update IEPs to reflect students’ progress and goals.
  • Assess students’ skills to determine their needs and to develop teaching plans.
  • Collect and analyze student data in order to make effective decisions to maximize achievement.
  • Discuss students’ progress with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators.
  • Communicate students’ progress with students and families.
  • Other duties as assigned.
