Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) position is available for a contracted, current school year assignment in New Berlin, WI. This role supports K-12 students with visual impairments, providing specialized instruction and collaborative services to promote student achievement.

The TVI will manage a caseload of 10-15 students, ages 3-21, across multiple district sites. Responsibilities include delivering direct instruction tailored to each students needs, conducting assessments to monitor progress, and working closely with classroom educators and families. Some travel between locations is required, though not on a daily basis.

Qualifications :

• Valid Wisconsin DPI License #1825 Visual Impairment
• Experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Strong assessment and instructional skills tailored to visual impairment

Location : New Berlin, Wisconsin (multiple district sites)
