Warehouse Stock Clerk I

The Warehouse Stock Clerk I (SCI) holds a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse operations. The SCI is responsible for regularly performing a variety of tasks including picking, packing, and shipping of books to customers and clients.

Responsibilities :

• Accurately picking orders from warehouse shelves based on customer and client requests.
• Efficiently packing orders to ensure secure and safe shipping.
• Preparing shipping labels and documentation for outbound shipments.
• Collaborating closely with other warehouse staff to maintain an organized and efficient warehouse environment.
• Conducting regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are accurate and current.
• Assisting with the receiving and unpacking of incoming shipments.
• Performing other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.

Education, Experience, and Certifications :

Experience :

Warehouse order fulfillment experience preferred.

Technical Knowledge or Skills :

Familiarity or previous experience with scan guns.

Read and calculate simple mathematical problems required.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements :

Warehouse environment.

Exposure to moving machinery.

High dust, dirt environment.

High noise environment.

Pay Range :

$17.26 - $18.40 per hour.
