General purpose :

To provide advisement for User Experience Design (UXD) graduate students and to convey knowledge and guidance from a professional perspective over the course of the program. This position will lead group advisement sessions with students, which take place between their for-credit courses (approx. once every 8 weeks). During these sessions, the capstone advisor will lead workshop-style activities and discussions designed to support students as they develop their capstone projects (approx. 2 hours / group session). The capstone advisor will also be available to mentor or meet with students occasionally outside of the advisement sessions (approx. 1 hour / week total). The capstone advisor serves students for the 15-month duration of the program.
