Acquisition Program Test & Evaluation Specialist, Senior

HX5 is currently seeking a Senior Acquisition Program Test & Evaluation Specialist to join our team at Eglin AFB, Florida.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Provide T&E technical and engineering support by documenting the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting, data reduction and analysis, and end-user operational testing.
  • Utilize and apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct test programs.
  • Prepare (or advise others in the preparation of) criteria, computation / analyses, specifications, cost estimates, test plans, and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise.
  • Select and apply engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem, data, or other features of the work which are broad in scope and complexity.
  • Review and evaluate the quantity, quality, and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of test engineering tasks.
  • Develop new and innovative approaches to problems encountered, and accomplish assigned tasks with efficiency, timeliness, and thoroughness.
  • Evaluate the configuration, capability, and operational relevance of test environments and ensure they are properly available for the thorough testing of software releases (e.g. fault insertion / fault identification).
  • De-conflict schedule conflicts between multiple releases, providing high quality analysis and recommendations to the program test lead.

Education and Experience :

  • AS degree and twenty (20) years of professional experience;
  • OR a BS degree and fifteen (15) years of professional experience
  • Position Type / Expected Hours of Work :

  • This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
  • Other Position Requirements :

  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
  • Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate level of security clearance for the position.
