Overview :
Our client, a rapidly growing company in the food and beverage industry, is seeking a Sales Director to lead its national sales strategy and execution. This role offers direct exposure to executive leadership, reporting into the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), and is ideal for a high-energy, results-driven sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
The ideal candidate will bring 5-10 years of experience, a strong network in retail and food service, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth. This role is open to both seasoned sales leaders and "boots-on-the-ground" hunter types who are comfortable with door-to-door and field-based selling.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company growth goals.
- Lead and expand a team of regional sales managers and account executives.
- Build and maintain relationships with major retail, grocery, and distribution partners.
- Identify new market opportunities and guide product positioning and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance to ensure alignment.
- Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize results.
- Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
5-10 years of sales experience in the food and beverage industry.Experience in a senior leadership role with direct team management.Strong network in retail, grocery, and / or food service sectors.Demonstrated success in scaling sales and driving revenue growth.Comfortable with field-based sales, including door knocking and territory development.Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.Compensation & Benefits :
