Departments : Med / Surg / ICU, Obestrical Unit, Emergency Room

Reports To : Director of each unit

Status : up to 60-72 hours per two week pay period with rotating weekends and holidays depending on the department

Shift : 8 to 12 hours shifts depending on the department

Weekly Hours : up to 30 to 36 hours each week

Remote Position : No

Pay : Competitive salary.

Job Summary

The Staff Nurse provides direct nursing care for individual clients with well defined nursing diagnoses. The Staff Nurse communicates with and on behalf of the client and coordinates client care with all health team members. The Staff Nurse organizes those aspects of nursing care for which s / he is accountable in a specified work period.
