Western Engineering Co Inc is looking for a qualified Class A CDL Lowboy Driver to join our dedicated team. In this critical position, you will be responsible for the transportation of asphalt paving equipment and machinery using a lowboy trailer to various job sites. Safety and precision are paramount, as you will be maneuvering significant loads while adhering to all federal and state regulations. Responsibilities

• Transport heavy equipment and machinery using a lowboy trailer to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and trailer, ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Secure loads appropriately to prevent damage during transport
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption
• Communicate effectively with project managers and site personnel regarding delivery schedules and requirements
• Adhere to all transportation laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with company policies
• Load and unload equipment as necessary
• Report any maintenance or repair needs for the vehicle in a timely manner.
