Job Summary

Georgia Gwinnett College is accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in Anthropology in the Liberal Arts for the academic year 2025-2026. The posting remains active for AY25-26 hiring (Fall, Spring, Summer). Part-Time faculty positions are semester-based and report to the Department Chair. Courses may be offered in face-to-face, online, hybrid, and / or blended formats. Positions are on an as-needed basis and require additional time outside of class to provide written feedback and meet with students. Classes may be offered in fall, spring, and / or summer semesters with morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend options.

Responsibilities

• Developing course curricula, including the syllabus, lesson plans, and graded assignments, in accordance with the upper division program requirements and in consultation with the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs.
• Reviewing, evaluating, and recommending student learning materials.
• Evaluating students to measure progress toward institutional and course goals.
• Timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Qualifications

Required

A minimum of a master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 30 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline.
