The Role
We are looking for passionate, inspirational, hands‑on leaders for Pure’s fastest growing and cutting‑edge team – the Analytics & AI Field Solutions Architects (FSAs). FSAs are highly motivated technical sales resources whose goal is to provide guidance, enablement, and support for all things Analytics & AI across a sales region. This leader must understand the client’s overall business, position the value of a Pure solution, and be an authority on how Pure exists in high‑performance data pipelines. The position requires working cross‑functionally with Solutions, Marketing, Alliances, Engineering, Enablement, and Sales to align initiatives and market campaigns while maintaining technical expertise in all new and upcoming solutions in the space.
What You’ll Do
- Creating field‑facing solutions content (Technical Walkthroughs, Deep Dives, Demos, Qualification Guides, etc.) for specific solutions around Analytics & AI
- Mainstreaming solution area and other enablement projects to better equip the field for the first stages of Analytics & AI opportunities
- Webinars / Events presentations, including internal and external content with Alliance Partners, Channel Partners, Vendors, etc.
- Participating in customer‑facing calls, demos, POCs, EBCs, internal strategy / sizing sessions, and other solution‑focused activities
- Staying abreast of advancements in internal product offerings (FlashArray, FlashBlade, Portworx) and new solution briefs, and formalizing an enablement plan
- Solutions Roadmap participation / influence; daily conversations with Solutions Architects and Product Management about field impact, deals, and feedback
- Daily Slack availability and enablement, leading to customer / opportunity influence
- Participation / oversight in field testing to document anecdotal knowledge and bridge gaps between solution readiness and official testing
- Post‑sales assistance / troubleshooting with expert knowledge around solutions
- Partnering with Sales Leaders for two‑way feedback and communication
- Being a beacon of positivity, inspiring the field to reach higher levels of success and attracting customers to adopt Pure Storage technology
- High degree of cross‑functional engagement with other GTM and corporate functions
- Communicating, connecting, and aligning people within the direct team and developing internal relationships across Pure Storage
What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field / equivalent experience8+ years of pre‑sales experience in ITStrong technical acumen in the Analytics & AI space with deep interest and vision for the industryStrong understanding of the infrastructure (servers, networking, storage, etc.) that underpins a high‑performance environmentExperience leading from the front with a reputation as an industry‑respected technical evangelist with demonstrated deep expertise in key technologiesExceptional sales expertise with Analytics & AI product solution knowledge and a solid understanding of Pure Storage’s competitive domain in these technologiesAble to articulate and understand the customer strategy and Pure Storage solution strategy to a technical level of detailAbility to explain complex concepts in a simple, distilled manner to teach account teams and partners about Pure’s Analytics & AI solutionsExcellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent presentation skillsProficiency with G‑Suite, CRM, and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.comStrong technical and tactical problem‑solving skills and experience with complex engineering designsKnowledge of the Analytics & AI landscape and how they all play together at Pure for a specific outcome for a customer (e.g., Splunk, Elastic Search, Kafka, Spark, Snowflake, Vertica, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)Ability to travel within assigned territory and other locations throughout the US and abroad (50% to 60%)Strong work ethic, attitude and follow‑through abilityPublications and social media presence is a plusAnnual Base Salary Range
$168,000—$269,000 USD
