Nurse - RN

Primary Purpose :

Provides direct care in industrial setting performing post-offer physicals, drug and alcohol screenings, First Aid, wellness education and OSHA compliance. Provides leadership and oversight in the Medical department as needed. Exemplifies excellent customer service and builds rapport with employees. Understands unit policies and procedures.

Per Diem - Primarily for evenings and nights.

Major Duties & Responsibilities :

• Provides exceptional customer service to employees. Ensures that all medical tasks and procedures are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Assists with regulatory compliance programs such as respiratory, bloodborne pathogens (BBP) and hearing screens. Collaborates and communicates effectively with department leaders.
• Completes annual competencies, continuing education and maintains mandatory certifications such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and licensure. Independently seeks professional development.
• Initiates incident investigations and schedules follow-up visits as needed. Communicates with Safety and management.
• Assists with projects as delegated by the Occupational Health Manager / Supervisor.
• Assists with compliance of drug and alcohol testing programs.
