OR RN Job Details – Leonardtown, MD Location : Leonardtown, Maryland 20650 (Southern Maryland nursing jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Facility Type : Short Term Acute Care Hospital Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Hours per Week : 40 hours Shifts : Day (4x10-hour, 07 : 00-17 : 00) and Mid (5x8-hour, 15 : 00-23 : 30) Call Coverage : 1-2 weekend shifts (12 hours on Saturday or Sunday) per six-week period; holiday coverage as needed Patient Ratio : 1 RN per Operating Room Charting System : Cerner EMR Scrub Color : Hunter Green Parking : Free on-site parking Estimated Weekly Pay : $2210 - $2370 Operating Room RN Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room Registered Nurse experience (including Endoscopy) Active Maryland or Compact RN license (required at time of submission) BLS certification (required) Proficiency with Cerner charting system Experience circulating in the OR Trauma Level I experience preferred Charge Nurse, Robotics XI, and Ortho / Neuro experience preferred Comfortable with call rotation and weekend / holiday coverage Two supervisor references required Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Not accepting first-time travel nurses OR RN Responsibilities Circulate and assist in diverse surgical procedures : general OR, endoscopy, robotics, ortho / neuro, gynecologic, and trauma cases Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy) Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EMR Participate in call rotation and provide weekend / holiday coverage as scheduled Support and mentor fellow nursing staff Apply now to join our healthcare team in Leonardtown, Maryland and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
