Security Professional - Unarmed Residential Patrol

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Residential Patrol in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a reassuring presence for residents and visitors. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sun 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and residents by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance as needed.
  • Assist residents, visitors, and staff with security-related questions and requests.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and activities in daily reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
